Taunton School

Taunton School is one of South West England’s leading co-educational day and boarding schools for children aged 6 months to 18 years old and is home to 1,200+ students. With an ethos rooted in kindness and humility, we celebrate each child and encourage them to explore their interests through a wealth of opportunities, to help them find their exceptional and become well-rounded, confident individuals. Our award-winning international school has been welcoming students of 60+ nationalities since 1996, providing the best possible opportunities to thrive in the British education system. With a highly supportive academic and pastoral environment, a diverse range of subjects and pathways, and average class sizes of just eight, we provide the perfect platform to progress on to Taunton School Sixth Form and UK and worldwide universities with a strong understanding of the English language and UK culture.

Students can enjoy more than 150 co-curricular activities across a vast range of topics, sports, and subjects. Regular social events, house activities, and weekend excursions allow students to have fun and make friends and most importantly, gain a true sense of belonging in a home-from-home environment. Our 56-acre campus is home to a range of facilities, including two swimming pools, AstroTurf pitches, a theatre, modern classrooms, libraries and study spaces, a state-of-the-art dining room, and a gothic 19th century main building. We are close to Bristol, Bath and Exeter, and a 1 hour 40-minute train journey from London.

Students from military backgrounds are represented in every aspect of Taunton School life, whether on the sports pitches, the stage or in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF).

“We inspire every single pupil to find their exceptional.â€
