Clifton College provides an all-through education, from Preschool to Sixth Form, and leads the way as one of the best Public Boarding Schools in the country. They offer day, flexi and full-boarding places; co-educational throughout. Established in 1862, Clifton College welcomes boarders from across the UK and the world, who join with their day pupils from the vibrant and diverse city of Bristol. Clifton becomes the school every pupil needs it to be. Based in the South West of England, the campus offers modern boarding accommodation, state-of-the-art facilities for each academic department and outstanding opportunities for sport, music, drama and art, along with an extensive range of co-curricular opportunities, allowing each pupil to discover their own interests and skills.

The newly opened Chellaram Sports Complex boasts a multi-purpose floor that accommodates multiple netball courts, tennis courts, badminton courts, basketball courts and cricket lanes, along with an indoor climbing wall. Clifton College is known for academic excellence, myriad opportunities, superb pastoral care and expert staff who deliver the very best learning and development.

In 2025, 75% of A Level grades were A* to B with 89% of pupils won places at their chosen universities, of which 70% of UK university places being at Russell Group universities. The College is housed in some splendid grand buildings but everything about the education they offer is modern. 

For over 150 years the College has provided a base for the children of serving Forces and Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office personnel.
